Very rare you find Pakistani batsmen who can adapt to all forms of cricket. He was the first Pakistani coach and chief selector to take both roles combined. He was a late developer at the age of 33. It is the end for most international cricketers but it was the start for Misbah. One of his biggest achievements was against England in UAE where his team beat us 3-0 in 2012. He loves coaching and sharing his leadership skills with younger players. He has ambitions to coach international teams after tasting success with Pakistan.

Jonty Rhodes the newly appointed assistant coach of Punjab Kings XI will be delighted to take on the responsibilities of decision making and being accountable for his team selections. My guest this week was an amazing fielder and the finisher for India in ODI. He was called the superhero in the field by Yuvraj Singh. On July 13th, 2002 he becomes a household name for his match-winning knock in the NatWest Trophy final against England. On my debut test at Nagpur, he was my second wicket, and he recalls how amazing was my delivery! Now he is a successful IPL coach at Delhi Capitals, you will always see him carry a notepad. His experience as a captain in domestic cricket is helping him to manage player expectations in the IPL and Ricky Ponting seems to be the perfect mentor to guide him as a coach. Monty Meets - Episode 5 ”Mike Haysman”

This week my guest Mike Haysman has been in the media industry for over 25 years. He is a key figure in South African cricket. We all know his unique style of commentary but he also gives helpful tips for a youngster like me starting in the Media industry!

He gives an honest account of why he went on the rebel tour, his close relationship with Alan Stanford, and his life coach Robin Jackman. He wants some key changes to take place with cricket technology, he would love to be on the ICC committee one day. My guest this week is the only cricketer to take a hat trick in the first over of a test match. He was regularly compared to the all-time legend all-rounder Kapil Dev. He is the fastest Indian bowler to 100 ODI wickets. I caught up with him during the T20 Road safety series in India earlier this year. Apart from commentating, Irfan Pathan will make his debut in acting being shot in Chennai movie called "Cobra".

Monty Meets episode 2 "Makhaya Ntini"

The first Black South African cricketer to play test cricket. He will talk about the challenges of playing for his country. He always felt like an outsider when playing international cricket. One of the ways to avoid criticism from his teammates he would run to the hotel after the end of the day's play. When he stopped playing cricket at the highest level he felt very quickly to be left out of the system. He found it difficult to find coaching roles within South African cricket. Now he is a successful commentator and believes he can be influential in Africa.
